An Update on COVID-19 From Brinks Home Security

As Brinks Home Security™ responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees and customers remains our top priority. The work we do is critical to keeping more than one million people safe and secure in their homes, and we are committed to being here for our employees, customers, and partners when they need us the most.

To ensure the health and safety of our teams, as well as the communities in which we work and live, Brinks Home Security has instituted a series of measures designed to keep employees safe, healthy, and able to work. We also want to assure our customers that Brinks Home Security will continue to deliver uninterrupted service to our customers and partners during this time.

Providing a Safe Environment

Based on guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), national, and local government officials, we are asking our employees to take appropriate preventative measures to help prevent the spread of the virus. This includes encouraging employees to thoroughly wash their hands, avoiding touching their eyes, nose, and mouth, covering coughs or sneezes with a tissue, cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces, and staying home if they feel unwell.

Those employees who are able to complete their work from home are telecommuting for the foreseeable future.

We have provided additional paid time-off to all employees to help them manage through this crisis and to focus on their health and wellbeing.

We are also in frequent communication with our sales and service dealers to reinforce their compliance with appropriate procedures in customer-facing situations, including encouraging employees who may be ill or have been in close contact with someone exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 to stay home and avoid coming to the office or interacting with customers.

Monitoring You Can Trust

The need to provide security monitoring to our clients never stops, no matter the situation. We want to assure our customers that Brinks Home Security maintains a robust business continuity plan to ensure that we deliver uninterrupted service and an exceptional experience to our customers and partners. Our alarm response center remains fully staffed and fully operational. We will continue to honor all new and existing service appointments, and we have not experienced any interruption in our ability to serve our customers.
