On April 1, 2019, Ascent Capital Group, Inc. (“Ascent”), the parent company of Monitronics International, Inc. (doing business as “Brinks Home Security”), issued a press release, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, setting forth information, including financial information, which is intended to supplement the financial statements and related Management's Discussion and Analysis of Financial Condition and Results of Operations contained in Ascent's Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2018, which Ascent filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on April 1, 2019.
